Dikmental Bureau Provides Online Ramadan Lectures

Amid of COVID-19 pandemic, Jakarta Secretariat Mental and Spiritual Education (Dikmental) Bureau wants to support religious activities by providing online Ramadan lectures throughout Ramadan month through cooperation with Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) and Baznas Bazis.

Our purpose through this program is to facilitate Muslims in performing Ramadan prayers

Dikmental Bureau Head, Hendra Hidayat stated, Ramadan lecture program will be broadcasted on Youtube starting this Friday (4/24).

"Our purpose through this program is to facilitate Muslims in performing Ramadan prayers during Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period," he explained.

Masjid Raya JIC Prepares Online Ramadan Program

Ramadan lecture will be broadcast via Youtube live streaming every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

"People can watch it at 12:30 PM - 1 PM and 5 PM - 5:30 PM or before iftar," he added.

Dikmental Bureau also cooperates with Education Agency to provide classes during Ramadan.

"Jakarta Education Agency has learning content at website sekolahmu.id and cariustad.id. Technically, those are managed by Education Agency. Dikmental Bureau is ready to provide religious teachers to teach islamic class for their content," he mentioned.
